Follow the simple and easy steps to have Smart PHP Poll running on your server. Step 1: Open conf.txt, provide your database login detail Step 2: Upload all the files into your server. Step 3: Open setup.php in your browser. Click Start Installation button. After seeing successfull installation message, delete the file setup.php from server. Step 4: Open admin.php in your browser. Login using default id: admin and default password: password Step 5:Make a new poll in admin panel. You will get an ID after poll creation. Save the ID. Step 6: Add following code where you want poll to display in your webpage: You should see the poll on that Webpage. POLL_ID is the ID of poll, replace it with your own ID. For this code, poll and the webpage must be in same dorectory. If you want to use a differnet directory then specify full path to ajax.js You can customize the look of poll from admin panel. Administration panel is made user friendly with necessary tips contained within. You will have no trouble in running the administration panel. NOTE: Please use a standard software for decompressing the contents of zip file, or else you may have some missing folders. We recommend Winzip or Winace.
