Customizing Views and Design
- CSS
CSS styles are defined in the template css, as far as matching standard css classes of Joomla!, like titles, article dividers, tables and so on.
You will find further styles in the folder administrator/components/com_jimtawl/css. Mainly relevant is playlist.css.
For the moment the file /components/com_jimtawl/views/programme/tmpl/calender.php in Jimtawls actual version still contains the styles for the calendar in the View Program. Feel free to transfer them into your template.
- HTML-Code
The directory structure of the componente is corresponding to the standard of Joomla 1.5x. Subfolders of /components/com_jimtawl/views are representating the different views on the frontend (While the folder topics is corresponding to the View Audio Content).
For Joomla 1.5 you may export the contents of this folders (respectively its subfolders tmpl) as usual to the template. For earlier versions you have to edit the templates in place. You can change all files within the subfolders with little knowledges of HTML.
[1] In Jimtawls actual version its not possible to administer playlists in the frontend. Thats mainly because the Playlist Editor needs a lot of space. The problem is, that all Jimtawl Users have to have adminstrator rights, because they need access to the Component Menu. There is a suggested workaround, to make it possible to use Jimtawls Areas with manager rights in Joomla 1.0.1x. Edit administrator/modules/mod_quickicon and enter the following code after the Media Managers link:
$link = 'index2.php?option=com_jimtawl'; quickiconButton( $link, 'jimtawl_icon.png', 'Jimtawl' );
You have to store the following icon as administrator/images/module.png:
This will be shown in Joomlas Control Panel.
