Windows User Mode Exploit Development (EXP-301)
The creators of Kali Linux and the OSCP certification have introduced a new intermediate exploit development course: Windows User Mode Exploit Development (EXP-301).
This online, self-paced course teaches advanced penetration testing methods. Students will learn how to bypass security mechanisms using customized, chained attacks.
Offensive Security designed EXP-301 for security professionals who want to add custom exploit development to their skill set.
All students should have the following prerequisite skills before starting the course:
- Familiarity with debuggers (ImmunityDBG, OllyDBG)
- Familiarity with basic exploitation concepts on 32-bit
- Familiarity with writing Python 3 code
- Ability to read and understand C code at a basic level
- Ability to read and understand 32-bit Assembly code at a basic level
The prerequisite skills can be obtained by taking our Penetration Testing with Kali Linux (PWKK) (PEN-200) course.
Offensive Security Exploit Developer (OSED)
Once you've completed the EXP-301 course material and practiced your skills in the labs, you're ready to take the certification exam.
The OSED exam has a 48-hour time limit and consists of a hands-on test in our isolated VPN network. You'll receive the exam and connectivity instructions for an isolated set of machines for which you have no prior knowledge or exposure. The machines will have apps for you to compromise.
